Vanlife, Trad Climbing & Wild Swimming in the Peak District [Video]

My weekend’s used to be spent working, but after changing jobs recently I now work more normal hours and am filling each weekend with fun trips, adventures, hikes and climbs. On this particular weekend, Harvey and I decided to head off to the Peak District in the van, staying close to home and exploring the beauty of this beautiful National Park.

We started the day at Stanage Edge, before whizzing down to my favourite cafe in Hope. We then went trad climbing at Froggatt Edge where I did my first HS lead! It was a warm and muggy day, so we decided to go for a swim at Chatsworth after that, before finding a beautiful van spot for the night just outside Earl Sterndale. I think more weekends like this are definitely on the cards; close to home, living simply, out in the wild.
